Yes, students have the option to pursue both a certificate and a master’s degree in health informatics. If all courses in the desired certificate track are covered within the master’s program, students may need to complete at least two additional courses to fulfill the certificate requirements.
Students who complete a certificate program and wish to continue pursuing the Master’s in Health Informatics program may transfer up to 6 credits from the certificate program to the MSHI program, subject to approval.
